In this introductory doll making course we will experiment with ancient and non-realistic doll forms, aiming to incorporate new shapes and media into our doll-making vocabularies. Both novice and experienced doll makers will learn simple approaches to express complex and powerful ideas. We will wrap, make icons, play with Model Magic, do an easy photo transfer technique, and start collecting images, colors, textures, words, and concepts to express our own personal symbolism. There are no wrong answers in this experience.
