THREE-DIMENSIONAL DOLL DESIGN
How do I take a flat piece of fabric and turn it into a three-dimensional shape? How can I make my dolls more interesting? How can I develop my own personal style of doll making? Where do ideas come from? Pamela will cover all these topics and more in this class where she reveals all—the step-by-step design process she uses to create her own dolls, from the simplest to most complex patterns. Pamela will share her own approaches to three-dimensional fabric design and answer any and all questions as students follow the process to create their own personal patterns and share their discoveries. Pamela doesn’t do “Realistic,” so be prepared; but she will discuss it for those who do it. We’ll make lots of small experiments that you can turn into your new line of originally designed dolls.
