FABRIC JOURNALS-TELLING STORIES, CHANGING LIVES

A combination of all the mixed-media fabric techniques you’ve ever wanted to try, in tiny Art Quilts or Journals. For these small collages in fiber, we’ll play with photo-transfer on cloth, beading, painting, appliqué, piecing, embroidery, and much more, with patterns and examples to create your own Fabric Journal or Art Quilt: It’s All About Me: Creative Selfishness and Anti-Depressant Journal, Playing with Colors, My (Mom, Grandmother, Favorite Writer) Immortalized, Hot Flash, Technique Samples, or a topic of your choice. We’ll even throw in some Artist Trading Cards for good measure—the basic techniques are very similar. They’re collages, tiny art quilts, and a way to express your own Personal Stories all in one! You don’t have to be an Artist or an expert seamstress to enjoy this play with fiber, color, texture, and ideas.
